1. Civil Judge (Junior Division)
Total Posts: 108 (54 Posts under Advt. No. 19/2023 & 54 Posts under Advt. No. 9/2024)
Educational Qualification: You need to have a Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university. You must also be enrolled as an advocate in the Bar Council of any State or Union Territory in India.
Language: You must be able to read, write, and speak in Bengali (this is not required if your mother tongue is Nepali).
Pay Scale: Rs. 27,700 – 44,770/- (Pre-revised)
Age Limit: Your age should be between 23 and 35 years. Age relaxation is available for reserved category candidates from West Bengal: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and up to 45 years for PwBD candidates.

Selection Process & Syllabus
The selection process for the Civil Judge post will happen in three stages:
- 1. Preliminary Examination: This will be an MCQ-type test. There will be negative marking for wrong answers.
- 2. Final Examination: This will be a conventional written exam.
- 3. Personality Test: Candidates who clear the final exam will be called for an interview.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks from the Final Examination and the Personality Test.
